WhatsApp is working to add advanced search filters in the messages of standard accounts of the application. Among other things, this new function will make it easier to find unread messages.
Last 2021 , the messaging application already implemented advanced filters to search for messages in your business accounts . However, this feature was also not available to everyone, as it was only found in the beta version of Android, iOS and Desktop.

If you have never heard of WhatsApp Business, we have already told you that it works exactly the same as WhatsApp for normal accounts, but with some special features aimed at companies.
In it, the filter button is represented by an inverted triangle and becomes visible when clicking on the usual search bar. Anyone who has this tool will have been able to verify its great utility when searching for chats of saved contacts, unsaved and even chats pending reading.
These three unpublished functions can be applied to both individual and group chats , and are located just below the filters that we already knew: photos, videos, links, GIFs, audio files and documents. By the way, it wasn’t until 2020 that these were included.
Well, the novelty is as follows: all standard WhatsApp accounts will soon be able to enjoy this feature . It will arrive in a future update, with the only difference being that advanced filters will always be visible in the search bar.
The full name of the new feature is “Chat Filters” and the goal is to include it in standard WhatsApp accounts as well. However, it is still under development and is not scheduled to be released until future app updates .
