The Google assistant is the one that reads the notifications
To do this you must enter the Google assistant which is done as follows:
- If you have voice assistance enabled, say “Ok Google.”
- When the “Hey, how can I help you?” window pops up, say “Google Assistant Settings” and it takes you to settings.

Prevent your phone from reading notifications out loud
Once in the Google Assistant settings , you are going to follow these steps to disable notifications that are read aloud:
- In the upper box that says “Search configuration”, you are going to write “Wired headphones”, if it appears suggested, press the suggestion.
- On the next screen look for “Voice notifications”.
- All the applications and functionalities that have the function of reading notifications aloud will appear. You can deactivate all of them or deactivate the ones that do not interest you.
