WhatsApp will finally include this option in its app: you've been waiting for it for years and now it's a reality

After years and years of waiting, WhatsApp wants to pay attention to users. WhatsApp support for tablets will arrive in 2022. Yes, after more than a decade WhatsApp has decided that tablets will have access to the service and, furthermore, it will be independently. It should arrive before the end of the year and this new support is related to the multi-device sessions in which WhatsApp works.

WhatsApp has been working for some time on offering the service for several devices at the same time, including 2 mobile phones . Simultaneous and synchronized session between all devices now also includes tablets .

WhatsApp for Tablets is a reality

In the beta version of WhatsApp, a very revealing capture has been revealed. Displays a screen to sign in with another device on a tablet . This, along with some leaked code, confirms that WhatsApp will soon be able to be used independently on a tablet.

When WhatsApp launches multi-device mode, a tablet can be configured as one of the 4 available devices . In this new mode it will not be necessary for the main smartphone to always be connected to the Internet or turned on. Each one will be able to use WhatsApp independently.

When one of the devices accesses the Internet, it will download the history and it will be synchronized with the rest of the devices. It is the same as WhatsApp Web or WhatsApp Desktop, but now without depending on a main smartphone always connected.

That it includes tablets is great news, as there are many users who have been wanting to access WhatsApp on their tablet independently for years. Soon they will be able to do it.
