Using a link shortener , you will be able to put any link in your Instagram story no matter how many characters the link has.
If you have never used one, we recommend you follow all these steps:
- Having copied the link that you want to put on your Instagram story, you will need to enter the Bitly website (the best link shortener). Within said web page, you must click on the orange button that says “Create”.
- Paste the link you want to shorten in the box that says “Enter Long URL”.
- Then, you must click on “Create”.
- Once the link is created, you must click on “Copy” to be able to copy it.
With the shortened link already copied on your mobile, you must place it in your Instagram story as follows:
- Open the Instagram app from your phone.
- Click on “Your story” to create a new one.
- Hit the sticker icon that appears at the top of the screen.
- Select the sticker called “Link”.
- Paste the link you copied from Bitly.
- Once the shortened link is pasted, click on the “Done” option.
- In seconds, Instagram will put said link in your story.
