WhatsApp has just implemented a very useful feature in its test version. The company hasn’t exploited its search bar too much since it became available, something that is now changing. WhatsApp launches the option ” Filter by unread chats “, which is found in the search section. A new button is coming and it will be a matter of little time before you can see it in your account.
The idea is to make your life easier when you have a lot of chats open without reading and you want to focus only on answering them. From now on it will be much easier to see which chats you have read which chats you have not.
Filters come to WhatsApp in the best way
WhatsApp is not only implementing functions that are not very useful since the beginning of the year, there are also other very interesting ones like today’s protagonist. The beta version of WhatsApp already shows the new button to filter chat content. The objective of this is that you can focus on reading only the chats that you have pending.
It is located next to the search bar and when you press it the list changes. A filter is applied to show only chats you have not read , removing all chats you have read from the list. In this way you can focus on answering the pending conversations and not get involved with the ones you have read.
To return to the normal state of the chats, you simply have to click on the filter button again. This way your list will appear as usual, without filtering. It is possible that now that WhatsApp has implemented this filter button, news regarding its use will begin to arrive.
