A new WhatsApp update is bringing the possibility of pausing and resuming voice recordings , an interesting improvement that until now was only available in the version of WhatsApp for iOS and had even come to WhatsApp Desktop a long time ago.
When users who use WhatsApp on their Android phone update the app through the Google Play Store, they could already begin to see this important novelty related to recording voice notes , something that until now was not possible in WhatsApp for Android.
The improvement that is introduced is basically that the user can start an audio and pause said recording, but recover it later to continue recording in the same audio, that is, resume the recording that had previously been paused .
For this you have to block the recording of the voice memo , that is, if you want to resume a recording you should not record it leaving the microphone icon pressed, you must block it by dragging your finger up until the padlock appears.
You will notice that now the pause button appears and then you can go back to continue recording in the same audio because now a new one is not created and the previous one is deleted, unless you have paused the recording and you do not want to resume it and you do delete it .
We already knew about its existence as it is present in other versions of WhatsApp, as we have already mentioned, but it is now that Android users can have it once they decide to update WhatsApp to the most recent version possible.
