This update applies to both cable-connected and WiFi versions of the decoder, enabling every user to have their own dedicated profile.
Creating User Profiles on Movistar Plus+:
With the addition of user profiles, Movistar Plus+ subscribers can now enjoy a more organized and tailored content viewing experience. Each profile allows users to track their own viewing history, ensuring that movie, series, and documentary recommendations are personalized and that progress on episodes or films is accurately saved.
The process to set up a new profile is straightforward:
- Press the Menu button on your decoder’s remote control.
- Navigate to the main tab and select the ‘Home’ icon, located next to the search magnifying glass icon.
- In the ‘Home’ section, you’ll find the option to manage profiles. Here, you can select ‘New Profile’ to create a unique profile, complete with a custom name and avatar. A variety of avatar options are available, including characters from Movistar Plus+ series and Universal Pictures.
Movistar Plus+ now supports up to four additional profiles per account, not including the default ‘Home’ profile.
