Although most of the new features that Snapchat + has just added are merely cosmetic, there is one that seems very relevant to us. Also, it is applauded that the company celebrates its first million subscribers with new features, so we cannot criticize them too much. Here’s what you’ll find in the latest Snapchat+ update :
- Priority Story Replies – A feature that will make your replies to Snap Stars stories more visible for when you want to get their attention.
- Custom Emoji for Read Receipt – Now you can choose the emoji of your choice to replace the classic blue arrow that appears when reading a chat.
- New custom backgrounds for your Bitmoji – New options include “Glittering Gold,” a tropical beach, and a background that emulates the texture of marble.
- New colors and designs for the Snapchat app icon .
As you will see, the novelties presented do not seem like much, except for the first one. However, Snap Inc. announced that more features are coming soon for its Snapchat+ subscribers. Previously, premium users received new features like an exclusive badge, new app icons, the ability to pin conversations, and even see who’s been through your stories more than once.
From the looks of it, Snapchat Plus is doing very well, and honestly, we hope it stays that way. However, we think Snap Inc. should add a little more useful functionality to this subscription, like Twitter Blue, for example. Likewise, it would also be good if they remove the ads to these users , something that has not happened yet. Snapchat Plus is now available in more than 20 countries and the subscription costs €3.99 per month.
