There is no doubt that the best Switch emulator for Android is Skyline. This application allows you to play a wide variety of titles from the Nintendo console from your mobile . As explained in their Ko-fi profile (a website that offers a service similar to Patreon), the team behind the emulator has released Skyline Edge so that users can support its development. This is how this version will offer early access to updates 2 weeks before they reach public builds.
This first level of subscription (known simply as Edge) costs €5 per month and will also grant you a Discord role that gives you access to channels exclusive to the emulator. A higher level of support is the Edge+ subscription of €10 per month, which in addition to the above, gives access to surveys with which the user can directly influence the development of the emulator.
Finally, the highest subscription level (Edge Pro XDR) is priced at €25 per month and will additionally add the username to the official Skyline builds. Here are the first enhancements that Skyline Edge subscribers will be able to enjoy :
- New update of the GPU code that improves the graphical performance of the games.
- Compatibility with new titles: Pokémon Sword and Shield, Skyrim , Crash Bandicoot, Rise: Race The Future, and Skul.
- Compatibility with mobiles that use a Mali graphics (ie phones with a MediaTek processor).
- Correction of errors that affected the fluidity of titles that were already running the emulator, such as Super Mario Odyssey.
