Thanks to the latest update received by the app for Android and iOS, which you can download manually from the Google Play Store, now any user can add a location when posting a video on the social network.
How to put a location on TikTok videos?
Before we show you all the steps you have to carry out, it is essential that you grant the necessary permissions to TikTok so that this option appears in your account.

- First you have to open the TikTok app from your mobile device.
- When you are inside the video app, you must click on the small “+” that is shown at the bottom of the screen.
- Therefore, what you will have to do is record or upload a video .
- Once the video has been recorded or uploaded, you must click on the small red dot that appears at the bottom right of the screen.
- Click on the red button that says “Next”.
- Click on “Add location” to be able to add a location to your video.
- Select the location you want to add to the video (you can put any location).
- Within seconds, TikTok will add the location to the top of the video description.
In case this option does not appear in the version of TikTok that you have installed on your phone, you will need to download TikTok Beta. This version has the latest features (it receives new updates every two or three days).
