After launching the Xiaomi 12S Ultra Xiaomi wants to continue betting on the photographic section. The next high-end of the company will include the sensor with the highest resolution on the market. We are talking about the Xiaomi 12T Pro and the 200 megapixel sensor from Samsung. Everything indicates that Xiaomi will have the first of this sensor and not Motorola, as was thought until now.
The Motorola Edge 30 Ultra will also include this Samsung sensor, but the leaks now show that Xiaomi will have the first launch. It is not too relevant, especially knowing that the arrival of Xiaomi in Europe may be delayed for several months.
The first mobile with a 200 MP camera
The leaks suggest that Xiaomi is preparing its Xiaomi 12T Pro with the new Samsung sensor. This sensor not only has a considerable size, but also has a resolution of 200 MP.
Of course, this does not make it the best on the market, but it does make it a great bet in terms of resolution and detail of the images taken. Xiaomi, if it uses its collaboration with Leica, could get a good deal out of this sensor.
The Xiaomi 12T Pro will be presented in 2022 , presumably before the end of the summer. These terminals will have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 as their main asset and also the new camera section.
