However, this new measure will not completely prohibit you from sharing your account, only that you can do it for free. In fact, Netflix is testing a feature that offers the user a secure way to share the account in exchange for an additional payment . In short, here are the two new features coming to Netflix soon:
- Add an additional member who does not live in the same household: This feature allows users with Standard or Premium plans to share the account with someone who does not live in their household by paying an additional $2.99 (€2.71 per change).
- Transfer the profile to a new account: This measure is intended to encourage users who enjoy a shared account to pay for their own subscription . Therefore, the feature allows users of the Basic, Standard and Premium plans to transfer their profile information to a new account.
