At today’s event, Huawei has announced the price of its Huawei Watch D , a smart watch somewhat different from the rest, it is mainly focused on health thanks to the provision of various sensors that allow measuring many health constants.
This makes it one of the most complete smartwatches in terms of constant measurement . It is one of the first devices even capable of measuring blood pressure, as devices specifically designed for this purpose already allow.
To do this, it makes use of a small micro-pump and air bag and artificial intelligence, so that the final result can have a minimum margin of error and there is no error that is too significant with respect to the measurement that could be made by a blood pressure monitor .
The manufacturer claims that there may be a deviation of plus or minus 3 mm/Hg. The Huawei Watch D bracelet is actually inflated while you have the device on your wrist, so a small pressure will be exerted to measure this constant.
Apart from blood pressure, the Huawei Watch D also measures blood oxygen saturation, performs electrocardiograms, measures atmospheric pressure, sleep quality, skin temperature, stress level, etc.
It offers NFC and Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity , making it ideal as a mobile payment device. It’s also NFC, IP68 certified for dust and water resistance, and offers compatibility with Android, iOS, and HarmonyOS devices as well.
Its screen has a size of 1.64 inches, is of AMOLED type and its resolution is 456 x 280 pixels. It weighs 40.9 grams and is available with a 30mm wide strap , although the strap length can be L (133mm long) or M (118mm long).
The Huawei Watch D can reach an autonomy of up to 7 days , although they vary depending on the user’s use. For the most athletic, there are more than 70 training modes and it has the typical options of any watch (alarm, weather forecast, etc.).
