Amazon Prime Music will go up in price next month

The music streaming service Amazon Music Unlimited is going to change prices and unfortunately for the worse, since during the next month the prices will go up . If you are a user of this platform, you should know that next month you will start paying more to listen to music.

It’s been a long time since Amazon launched its own streaming music platform to compete against the bigger ones like Spotify or Apple Music . Well, the price of Amazon Music Unlimited will be higher starting next month.

Amazon Music Unlimited goes up in price

Amazon’s streaming music platform has decided to raise the price of two of the available subscriptions. The subscriptions that will be affected from next month, specifically on May 5, are:

  1. Single device subscription will go from £3.99 to £ 4.99 per month .
  2. Amazon Music Unlimited individual subscription will also change from £7.99 to £ 8.99 per month or from £79 to £ 89 per year .

As you can see, the price increase for subscriptions is really low. It only changes by one pound and therefore any user could accept it satisfactorily. The reason for the rise is that they want to improve the quality of the service in order to offer the highest sound quality to users.

The price increase is planned in the United Kingdom , but we are sure that this price change will end up reaching the rest of the countries such as the rest of Europe and the United States, so you will have to be very careful on your next invoices, in case Amazon decide to charge you more.

As we have said above, the changes will begin to be reflected from May 5, 2022 . On the other hand, if you are an Amazon Prime user, you should know that you will continue to have a reduced price for the individual Amazon Music Unlimited rate.
