We are used to hoaxes of different kinds, but society has put a lot of imagination into the treatment against the coronavirus for which thousands of scientists have been working for months. Among the most “original” ideas that have been disclosed, is one that relates covid-19 vaccines to a microchip . This, supposedly, would serve to dominate society in a simple way through political and economic measures. But where did all this information come from? Do they have any truth? It all started in March. Many deniers began to say that the coronavirus was an invention to end part of society, to sink the economy and to control our every step . But it seemed little to them.
For this reason, when a medication began to be urgently investigated in the face of this global pandemic, many of them decided to publish on social networks that covid-19 vaccines would have a microchip . What was the goal? Dominate our thoughts and each of our actions by political and economic power.
It was a rather curious statement, since for all of the above to be true, politicians from the left, from the right, from the center, scientists, doctors, nurses and other professionals would have come together for the same goal , and all on a global level.
Why so much hoax with the Covid-19 vaccines and the microchip?
The name of Bill Gates has been one of the protagonists of this entire story. The businessman mentioned in an interview, after the outbreak of the pandemic, that in the future there would be digital certificates that would inform about who was tested and who received the vaccine, among other information.
From here, an article whose title was: “Bill Gates will use microchip implants to fight the coronavirus” became very popular, when the computer scientist was really thinking about an invisible tattoo that, of course, would not allow people to be tracked, nor would any type of personal data be provided about them.
In this way, social networks were filled with information stating that the coronavirus vaccine was a plan for people to become true puppets of those who have power.
But it was not just messages on the air that have caused this situation. In this way, the president of the San Antonio de Murcia Catholic University (UCAM), José Luis Mendoza, in the month of June 2020, hinted to a large public that the vaccine had only been created to control our freedom . Moreover, they accused those responsible for it of being servants and slaves of Satan .
Could Covid-19 vaccines have a microchip?
The answer is clear: no . First of all, international legal and health controls, in addition to current technologies, would not allow it. At a technological level, according to experts, implanting a microchip in a vaccine is not feasible . Moreover, even if it were possible, the process on which a vaccine depends would have prevented it completely. These types of drugs are controlled and supervised by international organizations and in various phases .
On the other hand, the health workers who have witnessed the tragedy that has occurred in hospitals regret that this type of message is being spread. The main reason is that thousands of people have been involved to create a project that saves people’s lives . Far from being grateful for their work, some have preferred to ruin their work by denying the obvious.
The first phase of the vaccine
For example, for a vaccine to pass phase I, an evaluation must take place at the community level and at the state level . In Spain they would be the European Medicines Agency and the Spanish Medicines and Health Products Agency, respectively. Would it be possible to include such a small device in a vaccine?
It would be totally impossible for a device of these characteristics to be introduced into a vaccine. According to specialists in health technology, the minimum computing unit is 7 nanometers in size. Still, to track any type of information, not just one piece is necessary, but thousands. Therefore, the element that the deniers would talk about would be very large, it would even need an antenna .
And not only that: in the case of designing such a small device, it would have to be profitable to be mass produced. Without forgetting what was explained in previous sections, that is, that the object would have to be approved by sanitary certifications . Analyzing the situation, those who understand the subject, and being aware of current technology, assure that we are light years away from being able to achieve something like this.
Finally, Bill Gates himself denied all the information spilled about him . Thus, the computer scientist claimed that the statements about the microchip were as stupid as they were strange.
