Meizu is one of those Chinese brands that promised a lot at the beginning of the popularization of Android. Out of nowhere, a new Meizu smartphone has appeared on Geekbench that has not yet been released and that to everyone’s surprise uses the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 , which is currently the most powerful processor on the market. Its code name is ” Meizu M2392 “, which doesn’t give us any clue as to what it will end up being called when it hits stores. However, some of its most important specifications were leaked.

These are the specifications that have been leaked from the next Meizu flagship in the aforementioned benchmark:
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor with a 3.19 GHz main core, three 2.02 GHz cores and four 2.80 GHz cores. With Adreno 740 graphics .
- Geekbench performance : 1409 points in the single-core test and 4199 points in the multicore test.

The official name of this device should be Meizu 20 or Meizu 20 Pro, but the code name it has in Geekbench (Meizu M2392) makes us think that it will be part of an unprecedented series , since the Meizu 20 and Meizu 20 Pro supposedly use model numbers M381Q and M391Q. So we will have to wait to find out what the new Meizu flagship will be called and in which series it will fit.
If it is confirmed that it is the Meizu 20 Pro, then it will hit the market with 12 GB or 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB or 512 GB of storage according to previous leaks. Either way, it will be good news to see brands like Meizu going back to their roots with powerful and risky smartphones.
