Today we know all the important details of the POCO F4 for 2022 , an economical high-end terminal that will be presented shortly. The leaks confirm that it will arrive with a hardware known to all and that it can be somewhat disappointing for many users. Despite being a long-awaited renewal , it could come with little news.
Are the features of the POCO F4 good?
This device will hit the market as a decaffeinated and cheap high-end . Why decaf? The terminal will not offer the latest and most powerful high – end hardware . Its processor will be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 , the same one that includes the current POCO F3.
The RAM and storage chips will have the same technology and probably the same capabilities. This leaves us with a fairly similar general performance between both terminals. That is, after one year there will be no changes in the performance of the model.
On the screen there will be changes, although not of quality. The panel of the new POCO F4 will be AMOLED and FullHD +, but it will not come with a size of 6.67 inches, but 6.3 inches . It reduces its size, maintains quality and matches the refresh rate of 120 Hz .
Your camera will offer 3 sensors of 50, 13 and 5 MP divided into: main sensor, wide angle sensor and telemacro sensor. It is one of the few points where the device advances compared to the POCO F3. Of course, do not expect very significant changes.
Finally, it’s time to talk about the battery. Despite the size reduction, the mAh is maintained in both devices. The POCO F4 battery will be 4,500 mAh with a fast charge of 67W. This last point is another of the few in which they differ, since the POCO F3 has 33W fast charging.
What is the price of the POCO F4?
At the moment it is not an official device and it is necessary to wait until its presentation. If we look back we can expect a PVPr identical to that of the POCO F3. The changes are minor and there is nothing to justify a price increase.
The price of the POCO F4 could be around 350 euros / dollars in Europe . That’s a great price for such a handset, but it might be smarter to save some money and opt for the current model with very similar features .
