A free service to imitate voices with good results, thanks to the use of artificial intelligence (AI), and that we can then send via WhatsApp or other apps.
We have known options like Voicemod to change the voice in real time, but in the case of FakeYou we have to enter the message in text , and the system will do the conversion. How to use FakeYou to change your voice
FakeYou is quite easy to use, even from your mobile, to send the result directly via WhatsApp. Of course, sometimes the menus show many elements , so on a mobile it will take a little longer to choose. These are the steps:

- Many categories appear, however, we have to select “Español / Spanish” if we are not going to write the text in English:
- Now we have to choose one of the voices, then in the box we write the text that we are going to pass to voice, and click on “Speak” :
- The conversion can take from a few seconds to several minutes depending on the text, at times of many requests we could also find errors.
- Going down to the “Session TTS Results” section we find the audio, pressing the play icon (arrow on the right) allows us to listen to it, if we are convinced we will click on “Permalink & download” to download:
- An intermediate page opens, with a public link to share the audio with other people (in WhatsApp, without going any further), we must click on “Download File” if we want to download the file to the mobile or computer.
- Now a mini player appears in the browser, we will click on the three vertical dots menu , and then we will choose “Download” :
- The modified voice is downloaded in a WAV file , which any operating system should open without problems, and which can be sent via WhatsApp.
- If we have difficulties, there are music players on Android that will serve as an alternative, we also have music players on iOS.
In short, FakeYou is a great system to change our voice , which is useful when it comes to making jokes, viral audios or creating content for the Internet. On the other hand, it is also possible to change the voice in WhatsApp with specific tools, although FakeYou will be useful if we prefer one of the characters that it includes.
