New reactions with emojis
Yes, we already know that you can react to messages with emojis… We have all been able to see it to a greater or lesser extent during all these days, but we are not talking about it. WhatsApp may soon allow you to react with all emojis , something very similar to what happens with Instagram Direct reactions.
Simply, a small gray cross could appear on the right side of the reactions and when you press it, all the available emojis will be displayed so that you can send the one you prefer. In addition, you may also be able to edit the reaction bar to add the emoticons you prefer to always have available, instead of the ones that are preset.
Create polls in group chats
It is very possible that during the remainder of the month of May 2022, WhatsApp will incorporate a new functionality that will allow users to carry out surveys in groups , as is already the case on other platforms.
Basically, this tool will allow members, or group administrators, to be able to ask questions that require the opinion of the members based on previously defined answers.

More new emoji
In the May updates, more emojis have been incorporated and will continue to be available. In total, more than 100 new options have been added , including pregnant people, low battery, troll, identification, handshake, new queens and much more.

Stored temporary messages
In WhatsApp Web a new functionality has been added, which may soon reach the rest of the users, it is an option that allows you to have the messages temporarily saved. This function will allow you to keep temporary messages in the conversation , allowing you to have the message once the established time has elapsed.
This functionality would be available to the originator of the message, ensuring that a temporary message stays in the conversation permanently.
Record voice memos by sections
Surely, this function is one of those that you have been waiting for for a long time from WhatsApp and although for now it is only in the beta version, it could soon be available to everyone. This is the possibility of recording voice notes by sections , allowing you to pause the recording and continue recording later.
For this function to be active, users must activate the lock recording button , sliding the button up when recording, that will allow you to pause and continue at the time you want. The function of press to record and release, will continue to send the messages to the moment, as it happens before.
Forward to a group
What’s new in WhatsApp includes a feature that limits the forwarding of a message to a group. In the beta version of WhatsApp, users have noticed that a message can now only be forwarded to 5 chats, but you can only include one group at a time in the list.
Although there is no official response to this change from Meta, this change is possibly due to a campaign to prevent the spread of false news and spam content through messaging.
WhatsApp for macOS
