Google Photos adds the most anticipated function by users

Google Photos has just added an option to its long-awaited Android application. It is something that does not explain very well why it has not been so far. All users who use Google Photos from their Android will appreciate the novelty. From now on it is possible to delete photos directly from an album . After years of waiting, it’s finally possible!

Delete photos from Google Photos albums

Oddly enough, the Android app didn’t let you delete photos from an album . Entering an album, locating a photo and sending it to the trash was not possible. You had to look for it in the gallery to be able to delete it. This just changed.

From now on, Google Photos for Android will include a button to delete a photo from an album. And we are not talking about removing it from said album, but about deleting it and sending it to the trash.

The Google Photos website and the iPhone app did allow this, but not the Android app . Now, after a post by David Lieb , Product Lead of Google Photos, we can know that it has been corrected and is being implemented.

It’s a feature that shouldn’t be news, but one that many Android users will welcome with open arms. From now on it is possible to delete a photo from Google Photos directly from an album.
