Bad news for Android Auto mobile app users. Google has confirmed that this application will disappear shortly , something that has been seen since they revealed that Android Auto would not be available in Android 12.
And, although those from Mountain View had already advanced their intentions to remove this app from their mobile operating system , everything seems to indicate that the time has already come. Find out below why you will no longer be able to use Android Auto on your phone.

Through a notification like the one we left above , Google reveals that Android Auto will soon only be available on car screens, which means that its mobile version will disappear. This notification has started to appear when opening the app on users with terminals running Android 10 and 11.
However, the exact date on which the app can no longer be used on smartphones is not revealed . Also, keep in mind that what will disappear is the Android Auto interface for mobile devices, since it will continue to be available on car screens compatible with Google’s OS.
Google Maps driving mode will replace Android Auto
Google has everything coldly calculated. Faced with the imminent departure of Android Auto, those of the great G already had their immediate replacement ready : the driving mode of Google Maps powered by the Google Assistant. At the end of 2019, this new function of the Google map service was launched, which has been improved over the years by this time.
Now, Android Auto users on mobile are likely to find this change difficult . Why? Well, because it offered the possibility of accessing navigation functions, playing music and reading messages just by opening the app.
In contrast, Google Maps’ driving mode is a bit more tedious , as the user will have to select a route on the map in order to access the navigation interface.
