Many platforms are experimenting with subscription-based services to earn more revenue. Previously, Telegram had announced the launch of Telegram Premium; the subscription that gives you access to exclusive functions. Now, Snapchat decided to join the pack with the launch of Snapchat+.

Snapchat+ has several new features. In this version you will be able to know who has seen your stories again, you will have the option to change the application icon, set someone as a best friend within the chat section, among other exclusive, experimental and pre-launch functions. As for the price, you can have access to all these functions for 3.99 euros per month.
But unfortunately, if you were planning to pay for this version just to get rid of the ads, let me know that paying this subscription will not allow you to do so. People with Snapchat+ will not have the option to turn off ads in the app.
That decision not to remove the ads was probably made because the company missed revenue targets. While Snapchat had growth numbers in the first quarter of 2022, in May, the company said it will fall short of its revenue goals for the second quarter of 2022.
