Instagram is a social network that is constantly changing. In fact, recently Instagram has changed its algorithm and announced that it will allow you to pin posts to your profile and you will even be able to reply to Instagram stories with drawings. However, it seems that now Instagram will have a new change that will make you post fewer Stories on the platform.
Instagram wants you to post fewer Stories
Instagram Stories are a fairly easy type of content to create and perhaps this is why some people post multiple Stories to the point that they come across as spam. Please note that there is no limited number of Stories you can post on Instagram .
Also, because Instagram stories disappear after 24 hours, some people use this content format to post things they don’t want to stay on their profiles . For example, if an influencer goes to a restaurant, they will likely post multiple Stories to that site and perhaps just one post to the feed. So while the influencer’s profile feed only has one new post, their Stories are full of content.
Now, it seems that posting too many stories doesn’t sit well with Instagram and now wants to limit the number of Stories that can be posted. In fact, it seems that Instagram is testing a new Stories format in Brazil.

Now Instagram will have a new change that seeks to publish fewer Stories: it only shows your followers 3 of your stories and if you have more, it hides them . This new Instagram Stories design has been posted by an Instagram user living in Brazil. Now, it is important that you know that if one of your followers wants to see the Stories that you have hidden, they can do so by selecting an option called “Show all”.
On the other hand, it is not yet known exactly which regions of Brazil and how many users are experiencing this new design in Instagram Stories. In any case, it is most likely that if this new design in Instagram Stories is attractive, it will be implemented in other regions . For now, we just have to wait to see if Instagram will also limit the Stories of users from Spain and other countries.
