According to the manufacturer, this SoC offers 2.5 times more AI performance and consumes 50% less power compared to Snapdragon XR2.
The new architecture that the Snapdragon AR2 Gen 1 debuts consists of an AR main processor, an AR coprocessor and a connectivity core. The main chip for augmented reality supports up to 9 cameras simultaneously for processing the user’s position and environment .
