The head of MIUI Experience and Xiaomi product manager, Jin Fan, has confirmed on his Weibo account the imminent arrival of the new customization layer and has also given us the first official image of this version . The wait is over. We already have the official MIUI 14 logo that gives us some clues as to what the design language of the new version of the customization layer will be. With a font very similar to that of MIUI 13, but with more transparency with respect to the background, this new logo seems to confirm the rumors that Xiaomi is working on a new, more transparent interface similar to what iOS offers.
Likewise, it is important to mention that the head of MIUI Experience also mentioned that with MIUI 14 they intend to create the most optimized and lightweight customization layer in the Android mobile market. This means that we will see changes in the bloatware and the default pre-installed apps that MIUI brings in its previous versions.
Finally, MIUI 14 is expected to debut at the end of November in China in the latest flagships of the brand. However, it is not clear if it will arrive first on the Xiaomi 12, 12 Pro and 12S Ultra, or if the manufacturer will reserve the release of this new layer of customization for the launch of its next flagship: the Xiaomi 13.
