New WhatsApp limitation: you will not be able to forward messages like before

Message forwarding on WhatsApp seems to have its days numbered. The function that has been present for years now suffers from a limitation that has been announced for years. WhatsApp has decided that you will not be able to forward a message that you have already received as forwarded. Well, yes you can, but only in a group. It is a feature that was being tested in certain markets and is now being expanded to the entire world and to all users. If you have WhatsApp you should know about this new restriction!

Why can’t I forward a message on WhatsApp?

This question will be much more common from now on. WhatsApp just limited the number of times you can forward a message that you’ve already received as forwarded. That is, if someone sends you a forwarded message, you can only forward it to one person or group. Just once.

This measure wants to put an end to hoaxes, false news and misinformation. In WhatsApp groups it is easy to send false information and it spreads quickly without any type of control. Limiting forwarding wants to put an end to this.

If the message has been written by you, it is outside this measure, so you can send informative notes of any kind to your contacts. What you will not be able to do is forward a message that you have received as forwarded as many times as you want.

This restriction is just around the corner

This restriction was implemented some time ago in some countries like Brazil and now it reaches the entire planet . At the moment it is being implemented in the beta version of WhatsApp and it is a matter of weeks, or even days, before it reaches the stable version for everyone.

If you soon have problems forwarding messages on WhatsApp , you already know what the main reason may be. Do you think it is an interesting function? What do you think of this WhatsApp limitation ?
