The new Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G is the most advanced smartphone in the manufacturer’s mid-range, and it surprises with its fast charging speed. Its 120 W means charging the 4,500 mAh battery to 100% in just 15 minutes .
At the helm of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G we have a MediaTek Dimensity 920 processor with 8 cores up to 2.5 GHz, manufactured at 6 nm and, of course, with 5G connectivity. There will be versions with 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB or 256 GB of storage.
The screen of the Redmi Note 11 Pro + 5G opts for a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel at 120 HZ , with the selfie camera in a hole. Instead, the fingerprint reader goes on one side, as Xiaomi chooses to place it under the screen in very few models.
At the photographic level, we have a configuration as expected: main 108 MP f / 1.8 sensor, 8 MP f / 2.2 ultra wide angle sensor of 120º and a macro for close shots of 2 MP f / 2.4.
For its part, the selfie camera is 16 MP f / 2.4 and goes in a hole centered on the screen.
The Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G disappoints a bit in terms of software, as it brings Android 11 with the MIUI 12.5 layer , which are not the most recent versions. Hopefully the update will not take long, and soon it will be among Xiaomi phones with Android 12 and MIUI 13.
The 120W charger is included , and the 4,500mAh battery is specially designed to accept this speed. Internally it is divided into two cells, its refrigeration uses a steam chamber and security has been reinforced.
Xiaomi states that the battery is capable of lasting two years in good conditions, since after 800 charge cycles it continues at 80% capacity . Anyway, in addition to the “turbo” mode that reaches 100% in 15 minutes, there is a less aggressive one that takes 19 minutes.
