Unexpectedly, LaLiga Pass has been presented as the streaming platform of the Spanish Professional Football League. Therefore, it will allow you to watch first and second division football without contracting the services of an operator, but not in Spain.
We already knew that Movistar Plus+ and DAZN will broadcast LaLiga football matches for 5 seasons, but that does not include international markets. LaLiga Pass will launch in Thailand and Indonesia in April 2022 , a curious choice of countries.
The subscription will include all the matches of LaLiga Santander (first division) and SmartBank (second division) in direct direct, even being able to watch several of them simultaneously. Also the usual summaries and highlights, the programming of LaLiga TV and other content such as documentaries and interviews.
Content will be adapted into Bahasa and Thai languages , including three live matches per matchday. In addition, LaLiga Pass will create content adapted to Indonesia and Thailand.
For now we do not know the price of LaLiga Pass , although it is foreseeable that much more adjusted prices will have to be applied in Southeast Asia. Not to mention that streaming platform will have taken the maximum precautions so that its access from Spain is impossible.
For now, it has been confirmed that LaLiga Pass will have apps for Android, iOS, smart TV and a web version , with the promise of expanding compatibility in the future.
In Spain, those who want to watch football matches without hiring a package from an operator should opt for DAZN. It is to be assumed that LaLiga Pass will try to expand to more countries, although at first it opts for such distant markets.
Of course, the idea of LaLiga Pass opens up the possibility of doing without the operators , and that the football rights remain directly with the Professional Football League. Something that in Spain would not happen at least until the 2026/2027 season, since the rights have already been sold.
