Samsung's strangest mobile has a design that you would never have imagined

A new Samsung patent has just leaked revealing one of the strangest smartphones in the world. It is not a real mobile , simply a patent that shows a concept that, in the future, Samsung could use. It is a folding mobile with a flexible screen, but with a truly extravagant design that nobody expected to see. It is a device reminiscent of one of LG’s latest releases for the smartphone market.

This is the Samsung mobile with a flexible side screen

The patent images and Lets Go Digital renders speak for themselves. Samsung is thinking of launching a device with a flexible screen that folds only at the top. Also, this screen folds outward and not inward, something Samsung hasn’t experimented with yet.

The design may be reminiscent of Huawei’s first foldable, the Mate X. The difference is that the extra screen of this supposed Samsung only accommodates the upper part. The usefulness of this format? We have a hard time finding it, as there is little content in which this format is interesting.

The rear screen can have some use and we have seen it in other devices, but the fact of deploying it in this way is something that, we believe, does not make sense at the moment. Of course, Samsung is simply thinking of something like that, because that is why patents are published.

Just because you see this sketch and the renders does not mean that Samsung is willing to release such a device. You may use the patent to show some future technology that could be included in more useful devices or designed for certain branches of industry.
