Streaming platforms are in fashion and it seems that some rumors with the arrival that there would be a CNN platform are true. CNN+, the network’s streaming service, arrives with movies and shows.
The programs and services on demand that will arrive on the platform will be totally different from those that the American television network broadcasts in its live programs. What we do know is that it will arrive during the first quarter of 2022 .
Live broadcasts, the centerpiece of CNN+
CNN+ will focus on broadcasting live content , that is, it will not be a platform like Netflix or Prime Video, but will focus on having between eight and twelve hours of live broadcasts of different types of programs.
The programs that will be broadcast on CNN + will be themed, by this we mean that the broadcasts will be treated in depth , “lifestyle” programs and even the arrival of debates between experts with the presenters of the same.
As for on-demand content, CNN+ will feature some of its star programs such as: Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown and United Shades of America. Although there will also be original movies and shows to enjoy on the platform.
Officially, CNN+ won’t be part of any platform bundle like HBO Max, but there’s a good chance it will be, as Warner Media and Discovery have officially merged.
The price of this service is also not known, and as we have said before CNN+ will arrive sometime in the first quarter of 2022 , so US users may be very anxious for a new platform to arrive to consume more content in Internet.
