How do Zoom avatars work?

Zoom’s new avatar feature recognizes the shape of your face and features such as eyes, nose and mouth to create the desired character , but it does not use facial recognition and will not store any data related to your face or features. facials. So far, only animal avatars are being incorporated, but they plan to add other characters to the list of options soon.

You can use Zoom avatars on Windows and macOS desktop devices, as well as iOS mobile devices . To enable avatars, you will need to verify that your Zoom desktop client or mobile app is updated to version 5.10.0 or higher.
