We already know all the details of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 and 11S for Spain, two smartphones that, due to their very low cost and good value for money, aspire to become best sellers within the affordable mid-range.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro and Pro 5G have also been confirmed for Spain, somewhat higher in specifications and price, pointing to the more standard mid-range. Now we will know the base model and the 11S, which are based on a very similar technical sheet.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 and 11S mount 6.43-inch AMOLED FHD+ screens, a relatively contained size. They have a refresh rate of 90 Hz (touch at 180 Hz) , they cover 100% of the DCI-3P color space and their brightness reaches 1,000 nits, with Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

At the software level, the entire Redmi Note 11 range arrives in Spain with the recent MIUI 13 customization layer, but as a base they use Android 11, instead of the current Android 12 .

A very interesting detail is that the standard Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 offers a free screen repair in case of breakage during the first 6 months after purchase (not on the 11S).
In fact, this base model seems to be Xiaomi’s big bet in Spain for the coming months and, despite the shortage of chips worldwide, the manufacturer hopes to have enough units to meet demand without problems.
The new Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 and 11S will be very popular phones in Spain , due to features, value for money and brand prestige. Although tough rivals such as the future Realme 9 are in sight, it seems difficult to displace Xiaomi from the minds of consumers when buying a cheap and complete mobile.
