Google will remove Chrome’s data saver feature in the next update for Android, which is expected to arrive on March 29, 2022 . This update has been dubbed Chrome M100 and promises to bring improvements to the browser, including some bug fixes and greater app stability. However, what many did not expect is that with this one of the most useful functions is lost.
Chrome’s data saving option is specially designed for those who usually browse using mobile data (which are not few). With it, you can optimize consumption while browsing and extend your data plan. A quite useful function, especially in countries where data plans are quite limited. So why does Google want to remove it?

Why? Because in many developing countries data plans were quite limited and with average usage many users fell short.
