We already know the new free channels of Pluto TV in February 2022 for Spain , which include Rakuten TV and a K-pop channel for Asian fans, the series El Comisario and the program En el Punto de Mira created by Mediaset ( Telecinco/Cuatro) and others.
The total number of channels on Pluto TV now totals more than 100, and it seems that it will not stop growing. Throughout February, 7 novelties arrive with different themes , which adapt to almost all tastes, perfect for watching television in free time.
These are the new channels and their premiere dates on Pluto TV:
Rakuten Viki
We have already introduced Rakuten Viki, a streaming platform with Asian content (South Korean, Chinese, Japanese, etc.) that can be viewed independently. Now it comes in the form of a free channel on Pluto TV, which will help publicize series, movies and programs from Asia.
Rakuten Viki broadcasts arrive on February 14 , 2022 on Pluto TV.
Pluto TV K-pop
K-pop is a South Korean musical genre that has reached Spain and the rest of the West thanks to phenomena such as the group BTS and the followers who make K-pop fancams to upload them to social networks.
Here we can see for free the video clips, concerts and other videos of bands like Blackpink, Seventeen, Itzy or the aforementioned BTS, available from February 14, 2022 .
The Commissioner
The Commissioner was a series broadcast on Telecinco between 1999 and 2006, now the 12 seasons of this police drama can be seen for free on Pluto TV. The cast is headed by Tito Valverde , along with popular faces such as Juanjo Artero or Paula Echevarría.
We will have a channel dedicated 24 hours to El Comisario from February 1 , a series that is also on Mediaset’s Mitele platform and will be an old acquaintance for those who usually watch minority DTT channels.
In the spotlight
Another Mediaset program, in this case En el Punto de Mira is broadcast on Cuatro and focuses on the investigation of current affairs . Each chapter is a monograph on the subject, at the hands of different journalists, who have been using the format since 2016.
We have En el Punto de Mira available from February 1, 2022, although it will not receive the new programs simultaneously with its premiere on Cuatro.
Pluto TV Reality
This is a “container channel” that compiles various reality shows , in the style of the free series channels of Pluto TV, or the music channels of Pluto TV. While the platform is well stocked thanks to MTV reality shows, we have even more variety here.
Pluto TV Reality will launch on February 1 , 2022 for free.
Pluto TV Documentaries
Documentaries are not the most common theme on the free streaming service, so now a new alternative has arrived, focused on all kinds of content, not just the typical science and nature documentaries.
Starting on February 21, 2022, we will have free Pluto TV Documentaries.
Ice Pilots
All 65 episodes of Ice Pilots NWT, a show that follows the work of Buffalo Airways, will be seen here. The Canadian airline still flies classic propeller planes from decades ago, and the show showcases its day-to-day.
We will have Ice Pilots for free on Pluto TV next February 28th .
