Through a statement on its blog , Google has revealed that the function that allows streaming music from YouTube Music has come to Wear OS . In this way, you will not need to download the playlists that you like the most on your watch to be able to listen to them. It will not be necessary for you to have your mobile handy either, since if your smartwatch is connected to the Internet through a WiFi network, you can use it to listen to music with your headphones.
This new feature is expected to come to smartwatches running Wear OS 2 or higher . This includes, for example, the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4, TicWatch E3, TicWatch Pro 3, Fossil Gen 6 and of course the new Pixel Watch.
Now, Google has mentioned that streaming music from YouTube Music hasn’t come to all watches running Wear OS yet, but that it will start to do so in the coming weeks.
