This Monday will not be remembered by Xiaomi with special affection. Just a few hours ago, the company inadvertently leaked a photo of its new Redmi Pad. Now, a few days after its launch, a German website has leaked several official renders and almost all the specifications of the Xiaomi 12T and 12T Pro . What can you expect from the company’s new top of the range for the global market?
The Xiaomi 12T and 12T Pro will have a design that innovates little compared to the Xiaomi 12
Although the T-series tend to be a small update of the numbered series, in recent years Xiaomi has used different designs between the two families. Thanks to the leaked renders, we now know that this will not be the case with the Xiaomi 12T and 12T Pro.
The new Xiaomi range tops for the global market will not only have a very similar design, but will be practically the same as the Xiaomi 12 . After a quick look, one of the few things that will change is that the main rear camera will have a black frame around it. Instead, both the Xiaomi 12 and the Xiaomi 12S have a camera module completely in the same color as the casing.
The other change would be in the material used for the casing, since the back of the Xiaomi 12T and 12T Pro seems to be made of plastic . This does not surprise us, since the Xiaomi 11T used the same material. However, we do not know if it will also be used for the frames, which in the Xiaomi 12 are made of aluminum to provide resistance.
From the rest, it seems that they will comply with the same design scheme as their predecessors: thin bezels , flat screens , a central hole for the selfie camera and an optical fingerprint reader under the screen. Regarding its specifications, there will be some differences, so we will list them separately.
The Xiaomi 12T will bet on MediaTek and a 108 MP main camera
As with the Xiaomi 11T and 11T Pro, the standard model of the Xiaomi 12T will use a MediaTek processor . In addition, it will have more contained specifications than the Pro model, although it will not lack power and great features.
We already handled rumors about its possible specifications, but now we have a more complete list. Until the moment of its launch we will not be able to say that they are totally true, but there is little left, so the chances of success are very high:

The Xiaomi 12T Pro jumps on the bandwagon with a Qualcomm processor and the first 200 MP camera in a Xiaomi
It has been rumored for weeks that the Xiaomi 12T Pro will be the company’s first mobile to incorporate a 200 MP camera. This gets stronger with each passing day and it seems that it will be the Samsung ISOCELL HP1 that is already in the Moto X30 Pro and Edge 30 Ultra.

The new Xiaomi flagships for the global market should be presented throughout this week, according to the latest estimates. Regarding its price, apparently the Xiaomi 12T will start at €649 , while the Xiaomi 12T Pro will start at €849.
