Vivo’s next flagship will hit the market in two versions, one with Qualcomm’s flagship processor and the other with MediaTek’s: the Vivo X90 Pro+ with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and the Vivo X90 with Dimensity 9200. Which is more powerful? Well, everything seems to indicate that the model that uses the American chipset.

The Geekbench 5 benchmark results of these two versions show that both processors exceed 1400 points in single-core performance, with a slight advantage for Qualcomm’s. However, in multicore tests the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 was 14.5% more powerful than the Dimensity 9200 (5,016 points vs. 4,461 points).

Another of the performance tests that was leaked was that of the expected Motorola flagship. A month ago it was revealed that the Moto X40 would hit the market with the next generation of high-end processors from Qualcomm , which was later confirmed by the manufacturer.

Now, Chen Jin, general manager of Lenovo China, posted on his Weibo account the score that the Moto X40 got on AnTuTu. With a whopping 1312901 score, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 beats the Dimensity 9200 by more than 50,000 points in this benchmark. It should be borne in mind that the Taiwanese brand’s chipset achieved a score of 1266102 points.
