We have already talked several times about the messages that disappear on WhatsApp. This feature is swarming between beta versions and official versions for desktop. It has not just been available to all users and WhatsApp is already trying to destroy it. A new function related to these disappearing messages has been revealed. Its objective? That you can save the messages so that they are not automatically deleted.
The nonsense of WhatsApp is to ruin a function before its launch. The company wants to have chats with messages that disappear automatically and also a parallel function that keeps them if you want.
Disappearing messages, but not much
What has been seen in WhatsApp Beta is the ‘ Save Messages ‘ function. This will coexist with the disappearing messages function. That is, one will have the objective of deleting messages after a while and the other to keep them.
The most ridiculous thing about the whole scenario is that the saved messages will not notify the sender , so your privacy will come to nothing. While one user is sending messages that disappear, the other can save them all so they are never deleted. Where is the sense of this?
A user may think that their privacy is safe because their messages are being deleted, but the reality can be very different. In its day we complained about the denial of the notification of captures, but this is much more serious on the part of WhatsApp.
Forget about disappearing messages on WhatsApp
If you have a minimum of respect for your privacy , we recommend that you forget about this function. Using it can only make you trust yourself and use these chats as private, when the reality is they are not. All content can be saved or captured without your consent .
