The BBK Electronics Corporation brands are being the best when it comes to updating their phones to Android 13. A few days ago we brought you the news that the OPPO Find X5 and Find X5 Pro received the update to Android 13 with ColorOS 13. And now, it is the OnePlus 10 Pro that is receiving the stable version of Android 13 through the layer of customization OxygenOS 13 . In this way, it becomes the second non-Google device to update to the latest version of Android, ahead of Samsung and Xiaomi.

That OPPO and OnePlus were the first manufacturers to update their flagships to Android 13 (if we don’t count the Google Pixels) is not a coincidence . Let us remember that these two brands joined their software development teams to work more efficiently and quickly on the operating system of their devices. And we are already seeing the results!

If you have a OnePlus 10 Pro, you can now update it to Android 13 without risk

The OnePlus 10 Pro had actually already received Android 13, but through a beta build that had unstable performance. Luckily, OnePlus has fixed and optimized Android 13 for the OnePlus 10 Pro enough to reach a stable version that you can now install on your device. This update is available at a weight of 5 GB for all OnePlus 10 Pro variants in the world, including European, Indian and North American, with the following version numbers:

  • North America : NE2215_11.C.19
  • Europe : NE2213_11.C.19
  • India : NE2211_11.C.19

Of course, the update is being deployed in batches, which means that it may take a few weeks to reach your device via OTA. What news does it bring? Well, everything that Android 13 and OxygenOS 13 released (at the end of the article we leave you the link to the official OnePlus article with the complete list of changes in case you want to see it).

The biggest novelty that it includes is the new aquamorphic design that brings a new set of animations thanks to the new Quantum 4.0 engine . The legibility of the letters has also been improved and large folders have been incorporated.

As we always tell you, if you want to check if it is already possible to update your OnePlus 10 Pro to Android 13, you just have to go to Settings> System updates .
