Polls are probably one of the most anticipated features for all WhatsApp users . For years users have had to vote on plans or decisions with messages or external applications . From now on they will be able to do a simple survey in a WhatsApp group and vote. If you have several groups of friends or work, you will know that this function is a breath of fresh air for the application. The feature is already being tested in beta and it will be available to everyone in a matter of a few weeks.
Surveys reach WhatsApp groups
If you use WhatsApp , you know that on countless occasions it would have come in handy to have surveys in groups . They are necessary to be able to vote in which place to have dinner, which movie to see in the cinema or which will be the destination of the vacations.
Now, thanks to WABetaInfo, we know that the surveys are already in the app and that it is a matter of time before all users can use them. They will be available in the groups and will allow all members to vote on a topic.
At the moment it is unknown how many responses will be generated or if all members of the group will be able to launch surveys. The only details we know are what the leaked screenshot gives us.
A truly useful feature for WhatsApp
The polls come late, very late. It’s a feature that pretty much every user has needed at some point and should be in the app for years. To everyone’s surprise it will arrive between March and April 2022.
It is one of the most useful WhatsApp functions in recent years and will give a lot of play in groups of family or friends. There will be no need to resort to other applications or miss a message from a lagging user.
