The CEO has also announced new paid features to be added to the subscription , many of which have been suggested by content creators.
Until now, paid subscriptions are only enabled for a limited number of content creators in the United States and allows you to publish paid Stories and make your profile private so that content can only be enjoyed by subscribers. Well, Mosseri has confirmed that Instagram subscriptions will now be enhanced with the following features:
- Exclusive publications only for subscribers.
- Group chats with 30 subscribers.
- Direct (Instagram Live) only for subscribers.
In addition, the arrival of Instagram subscriptions will also mean a redesign of the platform’s interface . A tab called “Subscribers Home” will be added where users can filter their feed to see only the content they are paying for.
