After rumors were released indicating the merger between two mobile phone companies , there were many conjectures that put Vodafone + Orange or MásMóvil + Vodafone as the possible companies that were going to merge.
Finally, and after a long wait, the union between Orange and MásMóvil has been officially announced , companies that will begin to take their first steps together in a very short time.
A merger that increases the weight of both companies
As reported by Orange in its official statement, the merger between these companies would unite the services for some 7.1 million fixed line customers, 20 million mobile phone customers and almost 2 million cable television customers.
In addition, this merger would mean savings in operating costs for both companies , something like 450 million euros in just three years.

With the merger of both companies almost completed, everything points to the new delegate of the resulting company being Meinrad Spenger, who is occupying said position in MásMóvil.
