It is seen that virtuality will go beyond the COVID 19 pandemic. Many people have married the concept of telecommuting and working from home , that is why virtual events have achieved great receptivity and could remain on LinkedIn as a new product. , in which the organizers can use the platform to produce their events and use the tools of the social network itself to market it.

At first, these virtual LinkedIn events would be a kind of Clubhouse , where you can only hear yourself. These events would have a virtual ticketing system, although at the moment it would be a free product in which you only need to register or have the invitation.

The new LinkedIn virtual events service would have the necessary tools to reproduce all the interactive content , without the need to use any other software or additional services. Hosts will be able to record and replay the event directly from LinkedIn, moderating discussions, incorporating video and presentation playback, and any other features needed for these types of broadcasts.

LinkedIn will initially target people already using its platform to connect with broader audiences, but could then jump to invitations on additional platforms to participate in virtual events.
