So you can quote a tweet in a reply
Before we show you all the steps you need to take to be able to quote a tweet in a comment on another tweet , it’s important to clarify that this cannot be done in Twitter’s safe mode.
How to quote a tweet in the replies of another tweet from mobile?
- Open the Twitter application from your mobile . Once inside the social network, you will have to click on the option that allows you to share a tweet (bottom right of the tweet).
- A menu with several options will be displayed, click on the option that says “Copy link” .
- Click on the tweet where you want to reply with another tweet.
- Go to the bottom of the screen and click on “Tweet your response”.
- Long press on the comments drawer . An option that says “Paste” will be displayed, click on it to paste the link of the tweet you want to quote .
- Once the link is pasted, click on the button that says “Reply”.
- Within seconds, the quoted tweet will appear within the replies thread where you made the comment.
How to quote a tweet in the replies of another tweet from the PC?
- Log in to Twitter from your PC , and find the tweet you want to quote in another tweet. Once found, click on it .
- Copy the link that appears in the navigation bar of the browser you use.
- Scroll down to the tweet where you want to quote the tweet you copied. Once there, hit the comment button , which is displayed at the bottom left of the tweet.
- Paste the link you have copied and then click on the button that says “Tweet” .
- If you did everything correctly, Twitter will quote the tweet in the thread where you made a comment.
