LineageOS 18.1 can now be installed on OnePlus 9 and some Xiaomi phones
The arrival of LineageOS 18.1 to OnePlus 9 is surprising if we consider that this mobile continues to receive updates from the manufacturer. OnePlus recently released a new version of its customization layer, OxygenOS 12, which updates the OnePlus 9 to Android 12 . However, OxygenOS 12 came with many problems, so LineageOS 18.1 may represent an attractive option for some users of this high-end mobile.
But this is not the only one that has been added to the list of more than 60 phones compatible with LineageOS 18.1. The mobiles that can now officially install this custom ROMs are the following:
- Mi 10T Lite, Mi 10i and Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G ( gauguin version).
- Mi 10 Lite 5G ( monet version).
- Asus ZenFone Max M1 ( X00P version).
- OnePlus 9 ( lemonade version).
Of these mobiles, only the Asus ZenFone Max M1 has stopped receiving software updates from the brand, since both Xiaomi and OnePlus flagship phones still continue to have support.
