Two years have passed since LOVEStv was launched in Spain as a free platform to watch live television from RTVE, Atresmedia and Mediaset España. Until now it was an integrated service in some compatible televisions, which was mixed with the channels and was a mess. Luckily, now it has become an application that you can install and use as just another app on your Smart TV, which will make it much easier to use.
Unfortunately, the LOVEStv app for smart TVs is only available for Vestel Smart TVs at the moment, since it was created through the collaboration between Cellnex Telecom and Sofia Digital. You can find it in the Home menu of these TVs, although it is expected to make its debut on Smart TVs from other brands soon.
Not all Smart TVs will be able to download LOVEStv at the moment
Just by touching the Home button on your Smart TV remote, you can easily and quickly access all the content that LOVEStv has to offer you. If it doesn’t appear on your Android TV, Samsung Smart TV or other, it’s because it’s currently only available on Vestel TVs. Anyway, it’s great news that LOVEStv can now be enjoyed as a standalone app , and is no longer mixed in with traditional TV channels.
After opening the new LOVEStv app, you will see all its available channels in a grid with their respective logos , as well as the information on live television programming. In addition, each channel shows a description of what is currently broadcasting.
This makes navigation more intuitive and friendly when selecting the channels you want to watch. By the way, the broadcast of the active channel is shown live through the TV tuner.
The LOVEStv application inherits all the advantages of HbbTV technology , such as watching a live show from the beginning or advancing it to the current moment of the transmission. In short, if you’re already very used to using applications on your TV, now you’ll be able to watch LOVEStv with the same ease that you see Pluto TV, Tivify, Rlaxx TV or other similar apps.
