Hiding the subscribers of your YouTube channel is that easy
The first thing you have to know is that you can only hide the number of subscribers of your YouTube channel from Chrome or any other browser (it cannot be done from the app). You can do it from your mobile, tablet or PC , as long as you enter YouTube through the browser. With that said, follow these steps to disable your YouTube channel’s subscriber count:
- Click the following link to enter YouTube Studio .
- On mobile they will suggest you download the app, but it is not necessary. Simply click Continue to Studio .
- If you haven’t already, sign in to YouTube with your account.
- Press the Configuration option (it is the gear that is at the bottom, on the left).
- Select Channel on the left side of the popup window that opened.
- Then choose Advanced Settings at the top.
- Scroll down until you find the Subscriber Count option.
- Uncheck the box that says Show the number of people subscribed to my channel .
- Finally, click on Save .
Ready! That way, no one else will be able to see how many subscribers your YouTube channel has. However, you will still be able to watch them from YouTube Studio. So, if you turned off the subscriber counter to not bother yourself so much about the numbers, avoid entering YouTube Studio and that’s it.
By the way, by doing this you will continue to receive new subscribers without problems , only YouTube will not show them to the public.
