More merged emojis, play from Google Meet and share files faster, these are the news in several GApps

Thanks to the official Google blog, we know that the Mountain View company has just released various updates that involve several of its applications. Specifically, the applications that receive news are Nearby Share, Meet and the Google keyboard (Gboard).

Starting with the latter, Gboard now allows you to quickly add emojis to a message after writing it thanks to its “Emojify” feature. Also, Emoji Kitchen now has a ton of new emoji combinations . Google didn’t detail how many mergers were added, but many of them have to do with fall and Halloween. These news are already available in Gboard beta.

Google Meet now has new options to share with your family and friends. From now on you can make video calls while watching YouTube videos or playing different classics with up to 100 people at the same time. You choose who to play with among the people who are in the room, being able to participate in game tournaments like UNO! Mobile, Kahoot! or Heads Up! This new feature is intended for those movie or game nights that you love so much, but sometimes can’t get to due to distance. This novelty is already available in the latest version of Google Meet.

Lastly, Nearby Share will soon receive a new subscription model . With it you can send any file to other nearby devices that have your Google account active, without warnings and even if they have the screen turned off. Google did not detail an exact date for this update, but said it will be in the coming weeks.
