August has been the month of Android 13. The eighth month of the year was the one chosen by Google to launch the new version of its mobile operating system , which has also officially arrived in the Google Pixel. Android 14: the first beta will arrive in April
The 9to5Google team has detected the first official reference to Android 14 in an update on the website of Google’s beta tester program. These are new details about the upcoming releases that those of the great G are preparing in regards to the versions beta of their operating systems.
To begin with, it is confirmed that the participants of the Android 13 beta tester program will begin to receive quarterly updates (beta QPR or “Quarterly Platform Releases” ) at the beginning of this month of September until the end of March 2023.
This means that the first beta of Android 14 would begin to be distributed in early April 2024 . However, considering Google’s recent history, it is likely that in February we will see a first glimpse of this OS in the form of Android 14 Developer Preview.
Until now, only Android 14’s dessert name was known: Upside Down Cake. Now, the date on which we can give the first look at the new version of Google’s operating system is known.
