The blame for the price increase would be justified by the high outlay that DAZN had to make for the rights to broadcast football matches. Said investment has to be “covered” by those people who have contracted the service, because in some way they must compensate for this great expense.
How much will the price of subscriptions on DAZN increase?
Although an official announcement has not yet been published by DAZN in Spain, from the German portal of this streaming service you can see the new prices that the different subscriptions will have. That said, it could be confirmed that an increase will also be applied in our country .
At the moment, it is not possible to speak of a specific price, since subscriptions have not suffered any type of increase in Spain. Similarly, it is estimated that they could be between 30 or 40% . In other words, the monthly subscription would cost €14 per month (now €9.99).
As for the cost of the annual subscription, it would be about €140 per year , having an increase of almost 40% (until today the cost of this plan is about €99.99 per year).
It should be noted that the prices of the DAZN subscription plans offered in Germany are much higher . What we did was increase the 30 or 40% that the plans in that country have suffered in order to have some kind of reference on how much they could cost in Spain.
Is there any way to avoid this increase?
Yes and no, that is, so that this increase does not “affect your pocket” , you should hire an annual plan before it becomes effective , before what date? We would not be able to tell you, but we recommend that you do it as quickly as possible.
Of course, remember that DAZN will prohibit you from sharing your account, so paying for a subscription with other people may not be a good option , especially knowing that they have the possibility of suspending your account.
